These charts represent when these birds are likely to be observed in Shelby County. The data has been compiled from eBird and personal experience. You might notice a difference in the eBird data and these charts. I tried to “weed out” the sightings that were not typical for the species. I also truncated the period of time for migrants based on stronger probabilities in an attempt to make these charts as useful to visitors to Shelby County as possible when planning a visit. I only included the 236 most likely birds that are observed on a yearly basis. The grouping of larger families is pretty straightforward. The other miscellaneous groupings were an attempt to make use of space. This might change in future but here it is now in all its imperfections. I hope you find this information useful in seeing as many birds as you can. If you have any questions, please reach out to me at birdinginthe901@gmail.com.
