Cliff VanNostrand is a life-long nature-nerd. He grew up reading National Geographic Magazines and watching nature documentaries. In his free time, you can find him somewhere outdoors. He usually visits the State Parks, Wildlife Refuges and National Parks in the areas where he vacations. Birding is his passion and also his therapy. He specializes in the birds of the Shelby County, TN area. Cliff has observed 300 species in Shelby County and has photographed 286 of them. He is involved in 4 area Christmas Bird Counts, 2 Breeding Bird Survey Routes, and is the Audubon Climate Watch Coordinator for Memphis, TN. He holds a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation from Unity Environmental University. Cliff loves to help people discover the wonder of connecting with the natural world.
